Hello, my name is Mrs. Janine Durana. This is my 10th year teaching at St. Bede School. I taught 5th grade for 4 years and now this is my 6th year teaching first grade. I am a 1997 graduate of St. Bede School, so it brings me great joy to be giving back. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare with a minor in Education from UC Berkeley in 2005, my teaching credential from Cal State East Bay in 2006, and my Masters in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Phoenix in 2009.
I have been happily married for 5 years and have 2 beautiful children, Elijah and Noah. In my spare time, I am also a CPR/First Aid instructor for the Redcross and a dog lover. My hobbies are watching movies and playing board games with my family, walking my 2 dogs, and Oh yes, I love eating out! Teaching has always been a huge passion of mine. I never wanted to be anything else! I can't wait to work with and inspire your children!
